In an effort to continue ongoing dialogue with our charters’ current authorizing agencies, Oxford Preparatory Academy’s Interim Managing Director Andrew Crowe and Board Members Albert Diaz and Sandra Garner spoke during public comments at last night’s Chino Valley Unified School District Regular Meeting. During this time, school representatives presented Oxford Prep’s Recovery Plan, answered questions about fiscal solvency moving forward, and shared ideas for a potential Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) – a contract explaining additional oversight items between a charter school and its authorizers.
We are thankful to have had the opportunity to speak to the Board Members of CVUSD and want to ensure that we are keeping the lines of communication open with Oxford Prep-Chino Valley’s current oversight agency. Our organization will persevere with exploring all options to continue the educational program for the students of Oxford Prep-Chino and their families. – Andrew Crowe, Interim Managing Director

They will return to the Chino campus on Tuesday, January 24th, with a Special meeting. Closed session will begin at 5:00 PM and open session follows at 7:00 PM. Per Oxford Prep Board policy, these meetings will stream live on the campuses of SOC and Saddleback Valley and an audio recording will be made available the week after.
