Champion Alumnus Wows Judges on The Voice

Oxford Prep families may notice a familiar face when tuning into this season of The Voice. Champion alumnus Hanna Eyre (class of 2015) has sung her way past the show’s battle round and into the knockout round as part of Adam Levine’s team.

While attending Oxford Prep’s South Orange County campus in Mission Viejo, Hanna was a standout on campus participating in Marching Band and showcasing her talents in flute, piano and cello at Jingle Jam. Former 8th grade professor, Mrs. M.K. Boucher (Gottbrecht), remembers Hanna as a talented visual artist as well.

Oxford’s Band Director Tizoc “Mr. T” Ceballos describes Hanna as one of the most talented students he has ever taught. “Not only is she an amazing musician, but she is an incredibly kind person. She was always willing to help.” Dean Tammy Lohoff agrees, remembering Ms. Eyre fondly as an upstanding citizen and student.

After her 8th grade promotion, Hanna was accepted into the Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA) where she is currently studying in the Commercial Music Conservatory. Sister Sara and brothers Caleb and Josh currently attend Oxford Prep.

Join us in cheering Hanna on as The Voice continues tonight!
