Welcome Michele Schuetz, Interim Chancellor of Oxford Prep SOC

We are pleased to announce that Michele Schuetz, a retired superintendent in Northern California, has stepped into the role of Interim Chancellor for the Oxford Prep South Orange County family until we find the right long-term fit. Ms. Schuetz brings more than forty years of successfully working with the California educational community and families to build strong programs, both in charter and traditional public schools.

Ms. Schuetz began her career in the classroom before spending more than 12 years in vice and principalships in both elementary and middle schools. In addition to earning a Masters degree in curriculum and assessment from the University of San Francisco, Ms. Schuetz holds a Tier II Administrative Credential.

Through the course of her career she has been recognized with numerous awards including twice being acknowledged with the Rose Brown Award by the Auburn Educational Foundation, the Silver Star Administrative Award by the Association of California School Administrators, and was a 1992 recipient of the Teacher Who Makes a Difference Award for Placer County. In 2012, Ms. Schuetz was named Placer County Superintendent of the Year.
